I’ve mentioned a few times how my work schedule has made it next to impossible for me to get to systema classes during my time in Russia. Perhaps I’m complaining too much, I don’t know. I thought I would just note my schedule here, and you can decide for yourselves. Anyway, it’ll be useful for me to look back on if (fingers crossed! Touch wood!) I get my Chinese visa and can take up my job offer in Beijing…
The blocks of time I list here are either in-class, or travelling between locations – that is, when it’s impossible for me to do anything else. On top of this, there’s 4-10 hours of lesson preparation and admin to be done in the free slots, depending on what I’m teaching in a given week (not to mention shopping, housework and eating!).

It’s very interesting work, and enjoy every single one of my classes, but the ‘bittiness’ of my spare time is the problem when it comes down to doing any training or studying.
